The CJO has participated in many chamber music workshops and frequently play with the Youth Orchestra in concerts.

The County Wexford School of Music Junior Orchestra was formed in 2008 under the baton of Emily Redmond. In 2010, Emer Collins became the artistic director & conductor of the orchestra. The Orchestra has performed in the 2nd Co. Wexford Youth Orchestra Festival in April 2013 and will also perform in the 3rd Festival in March 2015 in the National Opera House, Wexford. The Orchestra has also performed at Christmas and Summer Concerts in St. Iberius Church Wexford in 2013 and 2014. Orchestra members are auditioned for places and participate in workshops and masterclasses given at the School; the most recent being at the end of October 2014, in a collaboration with the Wexford Opera Festival’s Education & Outreach Programme. The Junior Orchestra was renamed Co. Wexford School of Music ‘Dynamix’ Orchestra in 2014. There are 30 members in the orchestra, aged between 8 and 14.
