MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT MICHAEL. D. HIGGINS

Many talented young musicians in Ireland continue to benefit from the generous support of the Association. By facilitating and encouraging a sense of togetherness and collaboration between youth orchestras across the country, you have facilitated the flourishing of a truly dynamic musical community in this country. The benefit to young Irish musicians, enabled to develop and explore their musical talent in a spirit of mutual support and communal spirit has been immense.

I thank the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras for its unstinting work and I wish all those involved in this 20th Festival every success in the future.
